If you've ever dropped one of our shower steamers into your shower and watched it fizz, you might have wondered... "what is this shower steamer actually made of?"

At Relax Away Essentials, we believe that transparency builds trust. 

The Ingredients in Our Shower Steamer and Why:

Baking Soda is the base of every shower steamer.

• it creates the structure of the shower steamer
• reacts with the citric acid to produce the fizz
• helps disperse the aroma into the steam 

It's gentle, and naturally derived. 

Citric Acid is what activates the steamer and creates the magic.

When it comes into contact with water and baking soda, it creates the fizzy reaction that releases the essential oils and fragrance into the air. 

no fizz = no aromatherapy experience

Cornstarch 

• slows down the reaction to give you a longer experience
• gives the tablet a smooth finish 

Essential Oils are plant-derived aromatic extracts. They all give a different experience. 

• creates and uplifting aromatherapy shower experience
• supports a calming shower routine
• delivers a spa-like experience right in your home

We carefully select oils that align with each scent blend we create. 

Fragrance Oils (when used) 

Sometimes we use high-quality, toxic-free fragrance oils to create scent blends that essential oils along can't achieve. 

Our fragrance oils are always:

• free from harmful additives
• phthalate-free
  

What IS NOT Inside our Shower Steamers 

you'll never find 

• harsh surfactants
• unnecessary fillers
• carrier oils - (which is why these cannot be used in baths)
