How RAE Started//Our Values

8 years ago, Relax Away Essentials didn't start in a big warehouse or with a business plan. 

RAE started in our kitchen. 

What began as a fun hobby to create products for ourselves, friends and family slowly turned into something so much bigger than we ever imagined! We were making small batches from ingredients that we trusted, learning A LOT, and finally decided to start selling products based off of the quality. 

From day one, our values were simple

• using SAFE ingredients that we trust
• creating products that actually work
• treating customers like family
• never sacrifice quality for growth

We didn't want to be just another bath and body brand. We want to make a difference in self-care. Hearing customers say how much our products help them, weather its mentally or physically, is the best feeling and keeps us going. 

Every shower steamer, body oil, soap, and self-care product was designed to feel intentional - not rushed and watered down. 

Fast forward eight years...

• we now have 2 amazing employees who help us bring our products to life
• we sell to hundreds of boutiques, spas, hospital gift shops, hotels, etc. around the globe!
• We've become best sellers in shower steamers on Etsy with thousands of 5 star reviews and loyal repeat customers. 

And yet, we still operate with the same small-batch, high-quality mindset that we had in our kitchen.

Self-Care isn't selfish, it's necessary.
